I'm normally pretty nocturnal. And last night I was on my facebook chatting with my friend who is also addicted to One Tree Hill. And while I was on facebook, there is a facebook apps for One Tree Hill quotes and I was going through the quotes and I saved the quotes on word- just for futrue status's and stuff. One Tree Hill quotes tend to make me happy and they have a lot of meaning. Anyway here I'm pasting them.
“And if your lucky, if your the luckiest person in the world, then the person you love decides to love you back.” – Nathan Scott
“Sometime when you care about someone alot you just know you will make some kind of mistake and you end up losing the person you care the most about but if your lucky you might get a second chance”- Peyton Sawyer
““I wanted you to fight for me! I wanted you to say that there was no-one else you could ever be with and that you'd rather be alone then without me. I wanted the Lucas Scott from the beach telling the world that he's the one for me!” – Brooke Davis
“People love a guy who rises from the ash’s. Remember that.” – Whitey
“Sometimes, life will kick you around, but sooner or later, you realize you're not just a survivor. You're a warrior, and you're stronger than anything life throws your way.” – Brooke
““As far as I'm concered Shaw was a punk, because you know what? Tragedies happen, what are you gonna do give up? Quit? No, I realize now that when your heart breaks you've got to fight like hell to make sure you're still alive. Because you are, and that pain you feel, that's life. The confusion and fear, that's there to remind you that somewhere out there is something better and that something is worth fighting for.” – Nathan
“Lucas: Have you ever wondered what marks our time here? If one life can really make an impact on the world...or if the choices we make matter? I believe they do. And I believe that one man can change many lives. For better...or worse.”
“I love you Luke but I’ve chosen darkness” – Peyton Sawyer
“Don't be a guy Nathan...be a man.”
-Haley James Scott
“Sometimes you have to step outside the person you've been and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are.” – MOUTH
““Take a look at yourself in the mirror. Who do you see looking back?
Or is there someone else you were meant to be? The person you should have been but fell short of?
Is someone telling you you can't or you won't? Because you can.
Believe that love is out there.
Believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
Sometimes happiness doesn't come from fame or money or power. Sometimes happiness comes from good friends and family and from the quiet nobility of leading a good life.
Believe that dreams come true everyday, because they do.
So take a look at yourself in that mirror and tell yourself to be happy. Because you deserve to be.”- Dan Scott
“Love is fun, this kind of love anyway” – Haley James Scott
“If you could go back and change just one thing about your life, would you? and if you did, would that change make your life better? Or would that change ultimatily break your heart? or break the heart of another? would you choose an entirely different path? or would you change just one thing? just one moment. one moment that you always wanted back..”
-Lucas Scott
------
“Nathan: Because I love you Hayley James... and you know how long it took me to realize that.
In the time it takes to pull a trigger...
Hayley: Scott, you said Hayley James.. It's Hayley James Scott and it always will be.”
Numbers are funny. They can measure you, time you, and analyze you all they want, but they all know what really matters is how you play the game. He thinks I've lost a step because of my accident, so he's gonna play me tight. I haven't. Now he'll back off because he doesn't want to get beat off the dribble... just a half step. That's a mistake. You ever hear the expression you can't measure heart? Well the truth is they can't measure any of it: heart... want... need. They think I can't play point guard. But Q knew I could. You can't measure a dream.”

All Math - No fun :(
Hello!!
Blog assignments are cancelled but I will not dissapoint you fellow readers (My friends who I pay to read my blog. Just kidding.)
I have been sitting here for 20 minutes thinking of a topic, well I finally got one, MATH!
Math class is a horrendous class, I hate it. My teacher over loads us as if we're in a college class and he likes to teach us these weird methods of doing Math. But sadly my grade isn't his fault... being lost in class might be. So I have to work extra hard and pull up my grade and as a sacrifice I'm going to give up on How I Your Mother marathons for the weekend.
During the AP week I sacrificed on TV Shows as well.
Well in my AP book it says that one should take a break and treat oneself with rewarding oneself with a break that allows them to indulge in activities that they enjoy, for example a favorite TV show.
If the AP book recommends it. I think I will try it study a lot and then reward.
Who ever thought that TV could be a reward?

The Rose With Thorns
Finally, I found a way to relate school to TV. Previously it was just me relating my TV show habbits to my school life, but now I have made progress.
You know how you they have that really nasty/mean teacher in TV shows that eventually leaves and everyone is happy. Oh, how I wish it was like that. Well today I met him, his name is Mr. Rose. He's nothing like a rose, maybe the thorns part. And is a rose short?
People had often told me that he was mean but my interactions with him were fairly pleasent and I always thought he was nice until today.
He's moody and rude, unhelpful and totaly not understanding. Just plain nasty, he gave me a demerit for some thing that was not my fault, being late for going to Middle School with another teacher and being left from middle school two minutes after the first bell for the next class is rung. How do you expect one to run up from middle school to high school and collect one's stuff and reach class in two and a half minutes? Apart from giving me a demerit, he was very rude about it. I explained my situation only to get nasty sarcastic comments from him and when I simply asked if I could go get the "late slip" that HE was yelling about, he very reduly yelled "no!" and told me to go sit down.
Not use to this rude behavior from teachers at my school, generally teachers here are very helpful and understanding, I was kind of shocked. Also, I didn't like being sassed/yelled at in front of my class mates. I wonder if there's some thing I can do about it? On top of all the stuff that happens at school I really do not want to put up with Mr. Rose's mood swings. If students can't use moodyness as an excuse why can teachers?
Signing out,

Bonding Over TV

Facebook and TV shows -
Everybody facebook stalks, right? But when you run out of things to do some times I just go through people's about me.. the quotes are fun to read and it's nice to see who's watching the same TV shows as you.
Often I see a common TV show that I've not seen and a lot of people seem to be watching and I'm like ok let's give it a try.
Recently this girls status was "Jersey Shore coming to India, woohoo!" I've never watched the show but I remember going for Harvard Model Conference and my chair was telling me about the show, he said it was hillarious. Suprisingly me and my chair also connected over our love for One Tree Hill. Have you ever thought does Television connect people?
Mark my HMC chair was talking about how all of his room mates got together and went through the season of Gossip Girl. How many of you do that with your friends? I've seen people doing that a lot in the dorms on a weekend. I guess TV is bonding.
I might give Jersey Shore a try but not now, too much work. When I do I'll right back about it.
Love,
You Me and TV

Songs and TV Shows
I've often heard people singing the theme songs of songs around the corridor. Gossip Girl doesn't have a theme song but a theme tune it ends with "XOXO" I've often seen people singing off like that. I've often read the lyrics of theme songs on people's Facebook about yourself and I've wondered what's my theme song?
What if I were a TV show. My favorite TV show's theme song was I don't Wanna be by Gavin Degraw it reminded me of my own personal identity where as the theme song of Friends reminds me of me and my friends. The theme song of Smaville reminds me of a hopeless situation or love.
Every show has a theme song that relates to the message of the TV show..
What's your theme song? I think it goes with the state of mind or character trait.
Anyway here are links to some adictive theme songs -

Horror Movies and Life Lessons
Recently I watched a horror movie, it was a trashy movie and it had no values. But I wondered what would a viewer learn from this movie? And here are a few things I got -
1)Do not go over to a drug dealers house or anyone you really don't know anything about.
2)Listen to your parents
3) Don't lie about where you are going to your parents. Let some one know where you are if you're going to an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people.
4)Know your way around places.
5) Carry pepper spray or learn self defense - for every girl
6) Do not let strangers stay over at your house
7) If you do let strangers in keep some thing that you can defend yourself with.
8) Think before reacting? Why would you let a bunch of creepers into your house late at night on a rainy night? Some thing sounds fishy. If you have to offer some one shade and comfort - offer them something but don't let them in.
9)Keep up to date with the news.
and finally - teach your children about how to deal w/ peer pressure, not to go over to strangers houses and not to smoke weed.

You Me and A HORROR Movie - A lesson
I'm not a fan of horror movies and on Sunday night I saw a horror movie for the first time. My friend borrowed a copy off this horror movie called The Last House On the Left. I wasn't scared and I didn't plan on watching it but, my room mates were screaming and I think that got me excited so I finally gave in and decided to watch. My friend gave me a quick recap and then we started to watch it.
I do remember shutting my eyes through a few scenes but those scenes weren't so much spooky ghost stuff or freaky stuff it was pure disgusting stuff that I didn't understand why anyone would watch it. I couldn't figure out if the movie was a thriller or a "horror movie." It went like this a kid with a messed up family constituting of the father being a rapist and a killer and the brother of the father being a psycho path as well. The movie's a bunch of bloddy murders and in the end the girl and her family survive where as the bunch of psychos die.
The movie made me wonder, WHO WOULD WRITE THAT STUFF? I remember laughing at how strange some of the scenes were, it was so ridiculous. I did shut my eyes cause watching a girl get raped by a scary psycho is HORROR but that's not the kind of horror I'd want to watch for a thrill or whatever the reason is that people watch those movies. I think some one would have to be seriously disturbed to write the story/ script for the movie or even so much so as direct it.
The only fun we really had was the running commentry through the film, during the exciting scenes, the scenes which had the girl running away and then the scarry music all of us would start screaming "Run!" "Oh no, TURN BACK" as if the character could hear us. I really wonder WHY I sat through that. I guess I just hoped finally the story would get better or the movie would get scarry but none of those things happened.
Raping of tenege girls by pyscho old men and the murder of these girls are tragic things that happen in real life and you read about it in the news and it's a tragedy, I don't think the news shows it for entertainment purpouses.
After the movie was over I wanted to go to sleep my friends, however, were to scared to sleep. They wanted to leave the main light on but I asked them if they could just put the tube light on and they agreed. They were like "Was that the first horror movie you watched?" and I said, "Yes" but when they started naming the horror movies they had watched I realized that I'd already watched them but I didn't categorize them as horror movies I categorized them as trashy movies.
I realized I'm not waisting my time on horror movies and instead I'd be better of doing some thing productive like reading, school work or sleeping.
But I did learn a bunch of things from the movie, or the movie reenforced a bunch of lessons... read about that in my next blog.
I'd love to hear your opinion on horror movies. So you could write me a comment with your experience or beliefs or whatever.
Love,
You, Me and TV.
