Weeds is an emmy award winning TV Show, it's a comedy and here's the plot - As a young widow with no inheritence from her husband needs money she goes into the drug dealing buisness she has two children and she lives in the suburbs. So imagine a suburban drug dealing widow? Weeds is pretty hillarious. Season one especially. Though season 2 gets more involved with Drama that makes you go "WOAH!" but I liked season one more, it was more funny. And for a comedy show don't you look at the funniness?

It's basically satirical humor so if you enjoy that kind of humor I would watch it, I already do watch it :) It's not exactly situational comedy like friends or the office or anything. But it only has 12 episodes per a season I'm on season 2 but I have till Season 5 or 6.

My school gives a 5 day holiday every quater and I can't sleep at night so I watch TV shows and this time I have picked Weeds to watch.

Gossip Girl Episode 13 - Season 3

My school announces wireless just the day that Gossip Girl episode 13, Season 3 comes out and guess what, all the girls go WILD.

My friend Pooka starts downloading it but then my other friend Shanon started so we all decided to keep the bandwith speed higher only one of us would download it. Since the internet was given to us at night the episode was getting downloaded at night, the speed isn't that great.

So we all got busy in our new super excited wireless and forgot about the Gossip Girl the next day after getting back from school however I went to my cousin Jia's room and asked her roommate where she was her roommate Sarah said "She's watching Gossip Girl with Shannon" immediately I ran to Shannon's room and I was like "Can I please please have it?" she was liek "Yeah sure, just get me a pendrive" since i'd lost my pendrive I went and asked my friend Selvie for her pendrive and she was like "Do you wnat to take gossip girl? just take it from me" and then even her room mate was watching it and when my room mates came back they were watching it.

On a day with home work all the girls were on their laptops in their own world watching gossip girl! and going "OH-EM-GEE" the typical gossip girl reaction at what they were watching.

I didn't like the episode that much though, I preffered the others but maybe that's cause that day my mind was preoccupied but then I got Gossip Girl to take my mind of other thngs which was great.

My One Tree Hill tradition

I had already gotten into a new school and I had four months of vacation untill it actually begun. And my lovely sister gave me One Tree Hill season one. That's when my addicition really started. I was ADDICTED to One Tree Hill! Sleepless nights watching One Tree Hill and a horrible routine (well lovely for me) had develloped.

It went like this, I disconnected from the world (for example, no facebook, nothing) and went inside another world of One Tree Hill. I use to watch my show every night and sleep in the mornings I'd wake up to go for tutions or just to start my vicious One Tree Hill watching again! I'd rush through meals and eat my leasurely Betty Crocker Cake with the Betty Crocker chocolate icing fudge+ Popcorn + Coke with ice (Which had become my traditional OTH meal to eat every night - (Disclaimer - Please don't try this diet , I may not have diebities and neither am I over wieght I am perfectly healthy but you might just get that way, I have no idea why I wasn't affected maybe cause I now live in Mountains and walk up and down to school but just don't try it)

Anyway that was my life style Sleep + Eat + One Tree Hill and I don't think I was happier. I remember I went online on facebook once in a week and my friends would just be like "Where the hell have you been?!?!" and I'd be like "Watching OTH gotta go bye" I'd check my notifacations and occasionally reply but I had my priorities staright and mostly I just went back to OTH.

While my cousin called those my "Dark and depressing days" I'd like to call them my best days of my life!

Why Loves Scott?

Scott, Lucas Scott is my favorate character from my Favorate TV show, One Tree Hill.
I even rigged my votes a little I wasn't going to count myself in my survey but I did as I wanted to put in One Tree Hill in all possible places, hehehe. It's not like I cheated, I just put in my own opinion, and since this is my blog that's what counts, right?

Lucas Scott, Scott 22 - His jersey NUMBER MY BIRTH DATE! Everything about him, the way he plays basketball, the way he's such a good friend or a good uncle to Jamie or the way he's the nicest guy ever I LOVE LUCAS SCOTT.

I love One Tree Hill everything about One Tree Hill for a person who plays absolutely no sports I actually started enjoy BasketBall after OTH. I was introduced to a lot of great music due to this show, I think OTH may have actually started the trend off music in shows and I love the way each show starts with a quote. And the quotes are phillosophical ( I can't spell that and to lazy to check)

I remember when my cousin gave me the first season of OTH. It changed my life! It was during my vacations and I watched it all night long! Then I got addicted and I watched the whole of the first season, the second season, the third season and the fourth season.

I had made a little tradation as well (that I will blog about in my next wall post - so stay tuned) and eventually I couldn't find the fifth season anywhere in India, I checked multiple stores even where to disgusting dirty markets called Palika Bazzaar to find it but then when I couldn't my aunt got it for me froM Sri Lanka, I remember jumping on her ! I was that excited!!!


For the sixth season, Sri Lanka didn't have it, my uncle wouldn't send it for me from the U.S and I can't buy anything online from Amazon cause they don't deliver to India so I went to the U.S and guess what? OTH Season 6 was unavailable JUST MY LUCK...! I was so upset I even searched for it at the Amsterdam airport but eventually I bought it again in Sri Lanka :)

And I'm savoring it, I plan on watching it on my four day vacation from the 1st of April to the 5th and yes, I plan on falling in love again :)

One Tree Hill really is true love for me, maybe it's Lucas Scott or maybe it's jsut the show but basically it's my love.

I cried when I heard they killed of Lucas and I really want to watch season 6 the last season with Lucas and Peyton and then I want to watch Season 7 to see what it is without Lucas and really what will it be? Lucas is what the whole show is based around! Anyway then I'll compare with or without Lucas as another post...

Coupling: British Version of Friends but Funnier!

My english teacher, Mr. Polka has a great sense of humor and he proved it with his choice of TV shows.

In English class Mr. Polka showed us a clip from the TV show on BBC "Coupling." He claimed it was funnier than the TV show, "friends" and I thought, "Yeah right!"

Though, Mr. Polka was correct. The little clip that we saw was hillarious! Coupling is a sit-com with three girls and three guys, just like friends- but funnier. Don't get me wrong, I love friends! It's such a great TV show. Coupling is kind of like the British funnier version of friends. It had three guys in a coffee shop but instead of coffee they were drinking beer and my teacher pointed out, they were British after all, I have no idea where that stereo type comes from but whatever...

Also what I picked up from the 10 minute clip was (no he didn't let us watch the whole episode :() was that unlike friends the six of them weren't best friends. The three girls were a group of friends and the three guys were a best friend and I'm guessing fate will let them get together.

The show was extremelly witty and hillarious. I don't really watch British Television but my parents do and I never understood how they found BBC funny but I'm going to try out the British style of Television over my vacations along with SAT prep ofcourc, since I am a junior at High School.

Vampire Diaries VS Twilight

Vampire Diaries, I was uptil 3 am last night watching it (But after I'd finished all my home work ofcource :)) Unlike Twilight Vampire Diaries isn't actually a bunch of crap. And no, I'm not one of those Twilight bashers but I couldn't help but compare. I admit I might have loved the books (The first one and New Moon the movie) but that was about a year ago when the idea was all new and cool but then the second book came out and the third and the fourth and all you realize is that Edward is just a sissy controling freak and really WHO LEAVES THE GIRL HE LOVES in the middle of a forest? Imagine being dumped in a freaking FOREST..like really would you do that to some one you are trying to protect or some one you are trying to get raped? And Bella just has to do everything that will not upset Edward. In relationships people do fight Bella's so afraid to express her opinions infront of that creep of a boyfriend and anyway why would you still want to kiss another guy when you "LOVE" your boyfriend? Bella has no friends or a life, she's like a puppet. It's such a sexist piece of work, but Vampire Diaries is so much cooler. Elaina actually has friends who she hangs out with she's not a depressed loner unlike Bella and she's easier to relate to, she's pretty cool. Elaina and Stephen on the other hand I am rooting for. He isn't a SISSY vampire and their relationship is more real as opposed to Stephanie-Mayer-is-a-wierd-overly-emo-dreaming-freak. I really got to thinking about this when Daemon starts mimicking Twilight, I totally agreed, even though Daemon's a jerk. There's something just plain wrong with Twilight, does it promote child molestation? A 16 year old falling in love with a little girl? And what about that Warewolf Sam he decides to imprint on his fiance's sister or something right? Like hello WHAT A PIG? why does he just get who he wants? Feminism anyone? Anyway coming back to Vampire Diaries
- The guys aren't wimps
- The girls have brains :D
- There's no lame rivalry between people just casue they're vampries and ware wolves (that really reminds me of a cast system..how OUT DATED...)
AND IT'S JUST AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Just look at the picture above for example Bella is such a coward hiding behind Jacob when isn't she supposed to be in love with Edward? What is wrong with her?
And look at Vampire Diaries Elaina isn't hiding behind anyone she's the center of attention she has a commanding presence of her own. Basically ladies save urself the fantasy of Twilight it's a bunch of rubbish written by a Emo woman and watch Vampire Diaries instead it's so worth your time :) Ok maybe green peace is more worth your time but still if you enjoy such stuff watch it, it's GREAT! :)
