All Math - No fun :(

Hello!!

Blog assignments are cancelled but I will not dissapoint you fellow readers (My friends who I pay to read my blog. Just kidding.)

I have been sitting here for 20 minutes thinking of a topic, well I finally got one, MATH!

Math class is a horrendous class, I hate it. My teacher over loads us as if we're in a college class and he likes to teach us these weird methods of doing Math. But sadly my grade isn't his fault... being lost in class might be. So I have to work extra hard and pull up my grade and as a sacrifice I'm going to give up on How I Your Mother marathons for the weekend.

During the AP week I sacrificed on TV Shows as well.
Well in my AP book it says that one should take a break and treat oneself with rewarding oneself with a break that allows them to indulge in activities that they enjoy, for example a favorite TV show.

If the AP book recommends it. I think I will try it study a lot and then reward.
Who ever thought that TV could be a reward?

The Rose With Thorns

Finally, I found a way to relate school to TV. Previously it was just me relating my TV show habbits to my school life, but now I have made progress.

You know how you they have that really nasty/mean teacher in TV shows that eventually leaves and everyone is happy. Oh, how I wish it was like that. Well today I met him, his name is Mr. Rose. He's nothing like a rose, maybe the thorns part. And is a rose short?

People had often told me that he was mean but my interactions with him were fairly pleasent and I always thought he was nice until today.

He's moody and rude, unhelpful and totaly not understanding. Just plain nasty, he gave me a demerit for some thing that was not my fault, being late for going to Middle School with another teacher and being left from middle school two minutes after the first bell for the next class is rung. How do you expect one to run up from middle school to high school and collect one's stuff and reach class in two and a half minutes? Apart from giving me a demerit, he was very rude about it. I explained my situation only to get nasty sarcastic comments from him and when I simply asked if I could go get the "late slip" that HE was yelling about, he very reduly yelled "no!" and told me to go sit down.

Not use to this rude behavior from teachers at my school, generally teachers here are very helpful and understanding, I was kind of shocked. Also, I didn't like being sassed/yelled at in front of my class mates. I wonder if there's some thing I can do about it? On top of all the stuff that happens at school I really do not want to put up with Mr. Rose's mood swings. If students can't use moodyness as an excuse why can teachers?

Signing out,

Bonding Over TV

Facebook and TV shows -

Everybody facebook stalks, right? But when you run out of things to do some times I just go through people's about me.. the quotes are fun to read and it's nice to see who's watching the same TV shows as you.

Often I see a common TV show that I've not seen and a lot of people seem to be watching and I'm like ok let's give it a try.

Recently this girls status was "Jersey Shore coming to India, woohoo!" I've never watched the show but I remember going for Harvard Model Conference and my chair was telling me about the show, he said it was hillarious. Suprisingly me and my chair also connected over our love for One Tree Hill. Have you ever thought does Television connect people?

Mark my HMC chair was talking about how all of his room mates got together and went through the season of Gossip Girl. How many of you do that with your friends? I've seen people doing that a lot in the dorms on a weekend. I guess TV is bonding.

I might give Jersey Shore a try but not now, too much work. When I do I'll right back about it.

Love,
You Me and TV

Songs and TV Shows

I've often heard people singing the theme songs of songs around the corridor. Gossip Girl doesn't have a theme song but a theme tune it ends with "XOXO" I've often seen people singing off like that. I've often read the lyrics of theme songs on people's Facebook about yourself and I've wondered what's my theme song?
What if I were a TV show. My favorite TV show's theme song was I don't Wanna be by Gavin Degraw it reminded me of my own personal identity where as the theme song of Friends reminds me of me and my friends. The theme song of Smaville reminds me of a hopeless situation or love.
Every show has a theme song that relates to the message of the TV show..
What's your theme song? I think it goes with the state of mind or character trait.

Anyway here are links to some adictive theme songs -
